Hello Everyone. I am just writing a quick note to all of you who sit home and wonder aloud, "I wonder what Jeff Archer has been up to?"
I have been working alot. I really hate it but it is better to be working alot then to not be working at all I guess. If anyone knows of a way that I can get up at 9:00 a.m. every morning and check email, then begin writing and recording music and watching "In Search Of" for the rest of the day, yet still bring in a steady income please email me and let me know what you know.
I haven't really listened to the shortwave in a while but I intend to do some listening tonight.
"House Music" played Friday night. I played drums and guitar but left early so I could work Saturday.
"Spooky Garcia" recorded Saturday night. We started a new recording with Rob playing 12-string acoustic guitar and mandolin and myself playing 6-string acoustic and banjo. I will add some lap steel hopefully this coming Saturday night.
No progress on my search for a cure of my "internetitis".
I feel the need to start writing short stories again. I haven't really written any in probably ten years or so. A couple of years ago Aaron Rivera and I discussed the possibility of writing stories via email. For instance I would write a couple pages of something and then stop in mid sentence, email what I have to Aaron, and then he would finish the sentence and write the next couple pages, stop in mid sentence and then the cycle would repeat itself. Perhaps I should bring this up to him again.
Congratulations to Matt and Jessica Mott on the birth of their first child, a little girl as yet unnamed. Matt and Jessica rock like Zeppelin at the Kingdome in '77.
That's all I have for now as my extremely wonderful wife would like to update her site as well.
